About Not About Losing
Not About Losing started with a simple observation: most fitness content treats a lower number on the scale as the only sign that something is working. That leaves out a lot of real progress, like climbing a flight of stairs without stopping halfway, or falling asleep faster after a walk.
We cover strength, mobility, beginner fitness, walking, habit building, and nutrition for adults who are starting out, returning after a break, or recovering from fitness burnout. We write for busy professionals, parents rebuilding a routine, and older adults working to maintain independence.
Health needs vary by age, disability, medical conditions, income, access, medication, work schedule, and caregiving responsibilities. We try to write with that in mind instead of assuming one plan fits everyone.
What we cover
